Not sure why Crooks has it in his head that spurs are entitled to be winning something. It’s a club that last won a serious trophy almost three decades ago and has had next to no investment since compared to the trophy winning clubs.
Prior to this summer poch had been allowed a net spend of £15m in the entirety of his time at spurs. Yet despite that he has finished above two or more of the oligarch clubs for four consecutive seasons and reached the final of the Champions League. Crooks should have been forced to name another coach who has had such a disadvantage compared to his rivals but still achieved what poch has over the past four seasons. Had he been asked that, I think the flow of words would have dried up.
