Yes, yes, yes, there are probably a number of ways to ‘explain’ the above list, but the bottom line is Maurico Pochettino has been over insanely achieving.
There is no trophy to show for all the huff and hype, but Maurico has been working with one hand behind his back, and for that matter, his shoelaces tied together.
No other manager in any of Europe’s top five leagues was denied a single inbound transfer for the last two windows. This is extraordinary and cannot be even vaguley ‘explained away’.
It’s also worth noting that Pochettino has man managed faultlessly. Vincent Janssen may have fallen on the wrong side of Mauricio’s good nature, does anyone genuinley feel as if that has been a bad call?
Christian Eriksen has so far refused to extend his stay in N17, yet Premier league stats for last season were exceptional.
