Tottenham Hotspur’s young talent, Alfie Dorrington, has made a welcome return to training after overcoming a hamstring injury, as observed during the club’s recent session.

Dorrington, a promising English centre-back, has been a regular feature in Ange Postecoglou’s training sessions and matchday squads, earning inclusion in 10 Premier League games but is yet to make his debut.

However, he has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since the end of January, sustained while playing for the youth team.

Prior to his injury, Dorrington demonstrated his capabilities as a regular starter for the Spurs U21 side, featuring in all 11 Premier League 2 matches he was available for in the ongoing campaign.

Football London reports that the young defender has returned to training and was with the rest of the team on Wednesday, signalling his readiness to contribute ahead of Tottenham’s upcoming league fixture against Fulham this weekend.

Dorrington was seen at the back of the group photo during training at Hotspur Way, gearing up for the Lilywhites’ upcoming league fixture against Fulham over the weekend.

Hailing from London, Dorrington began his journey with Tottenham’s youth academy at the age of 13 and inked his first professional contract in June of last year.

His progression has been evident, with the young defender earning the opportunity to train with the senior squad after assuming leadership roles with both the U19s and U21s, showcasing his potential for a bright future in the sport.
