I’ve dropped Bale, on the basis that right now, or at least at teatime tomorrow, we need to field our best XI and I really fancy Erik Lamela to cause Man City more problems than the Welshman might. Honestly couldn’t guess a Jose 11. Playing two of the worst teams in the league our midfield was set up for defence. I 100% agree about the game though, this is statement of intent, city need this win badly, and have looked poor most of the season. We need a big scalp because currently (despite being 2nd) we haven’t beat a top tier team.
I wouldn’t be shocked to see a very defensive and counter attack approach, knowing city will get frustrated. So for me I can see sissoko or winks starting over lo celsco.
Oh… Also predict 3 shots on target all game.
