Plausible XI To Beat Chelsea|image

By The Boy -

If this game is anything like our extraordinary performance against Manchester City, then we ought to be prepared for another riveting hour and a half, that will ultimately divide the fanbase. I’d be surprised if we see Dele Alli unless he makes the bench, and I’ve also opted for Japhet over the occasionally unsound Sanchez. If Lo Celso is ready, then I’d fully expect him to start ahead of Moura.

Prediction? Sonny as first goalscorer, both teams to score, and Spurs to win by at least 2 goals!

eight seem to be automatic ones, if Rodon has pleased everyone in training all week and was trusted to cover for Toby against City and can’t play in the EL I would go with him.Tanganga played all 93 mins midweek and is only being nursed back from injury. Aurier played well against City and Doherty also has already played midweek,go with Aurier. Anyone of Bale Moura or Bergwijn for the RW but not LoCelso.

Interesting selection H. If Tanganga was fully fit, with his pace, he might be a better match-up on Werner than Rodon, but I am not sure if he is truly match fit. I suspect Jose Mourinho will play Rodon, although that is also a selection with quite a bit of inexperience attached to it. I think Lo Celso will be platooned with Ndomby, rather than both starting together. The speed of Bergwijn, even though he was relatively ineffectual against City, might be his preferred choice out wide. So my predicted, rather than preferred XI. … Lloris; Reguilon, Rodon, Dier, Aurier: Hojbjerg, Ndombele, Sissoko; Son, Kane, Bergwijn … Subs: Hart, Davies, Lo Celso, Bale, Dele, Vinicius, Lucas.
