Plausible Spurs XI to Beat The Barcodes | image

By The Boy -

Just when you thought the Premier experience couldn’t become more of a jamboree than it already has, West Brom pops up and put 5 past Chelsea one quiet Saturday afternoon. That result aids our cause and who knows, maybe Arsenal can do a job on Klopp’s lot later on this evening.

Steve Bruce is getting the usual level of support the Toon lavish upon their managers…

Mourinho needs to get Tottenham backing the ‘we win all games we participate in’ vibe, I believe this is the Xi that might best serve that cause.

All very well knocking players but moaners never have an alternative. Just like you here. Given the limitations of our squad I’d say that’s as good as it gets.

That’s a good lineup and one I’d say would win most games. It’d be my cup final lineup too.

Get CL, drive out a few wasters and replace them with a couple of players of value, and who knows? Might just shift the balance in the squad.

Lucas has to play he’s the only player to have fathomed out that running at defender’s with that round thing frightens them.

Lucas is undroppable right about now. It’s him bringing the drive. Him & vini looking like they’ve got a little sutn sutn going on. Serve him Lucas.

They’ll soon get fed up of running 10 mile odd per game

How’s your hero Botch doing? With Mbappe and Neymar in his ranks, at one of the richest clubs in the world, the Parisians are nailed on to win the league every year. If ever there was a one horse race then ligue 1 and PSG fit the bill… He’s struggling to manage to win there ffs…. Lille!

Brave man to tell that to the Chelsea owner who invested heavily in the summer but failed to land the PL title!!

Being handed it on a plate again. That Chelsea result was farcical. This squad isn’t CL material, it will be embarrassing if they got in.

Agreed. When the initiative has been for them to take the advantage its gone Pete Tong. Son if fit will start.

Hmm, true, no Lucas is the only thing I could find fault with. Jose might sacrifice Vinicius, I suppose? Though it’s good to play Moura and Vinicius as there seems to be a partnership there… Maybe put Son on the bench, as he’s coming back from injury?

Tough decisions!

How many times have we been down this road and promptly fluffed our lines?!

Lucas has to play for me.. He has been showing the mentality and drive while others have stood still looking like subbuteo players.. He deserves to start.

Very decent lineup that would keep the good feeling from the Villa game going. Want to see Lo Celso, Tanguy and PEH dominate the midfield and some Vinicius post slapping.

Leicester and Chelsea both lost, and I see a draw for West Ham at Wolves, so it’s even more crucial to beat Newcastle before we take on Utd and Everton.

This is the team i’d play and I think Jose may but he will probably change the back 2 some how and I just hope its not Sanchez & Dier. Nothing against them, they just don’t seem to be able to play together. We just need to get the win after Chelsea’s slip up today COYS !!!

Aye either Rodon or Japh to pair with Toby… Reggy left, Aurier right… Hojberg and Ndom in the middle. If Tanguy doesn’t perform then bring Gio on for him… Son left, Lucas right.. Kane obviously up top…… Knowing Maureen and Lucas recent performances, I’m half expecting Lucas to be in the middle again.

If we put all the man city players in spurs shirts would they turn useless just by donning the shirt?

Fully deserving of being a permanent fixture in the team IMO It’s illogical dropping Rodon earmarked by myself as a future captain of both club and country!

Harry, dropped him as we as Jose not playing him all the time. I’m surprised comments are so quiet.
