During Tottenham’s Premier League match against Wolves, midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg was seen engaging in a heated exchange with his teammate, Dejan Kulusevski.
The incident occurred after Wolves’ Diego Costa suffered an injury, and Kulusevski decided to put the ball out of play in the interest of sportsmanship.
However, Hojbjerg was not pleased with this decision and could be seen shouting at Kulusevski.
The situation was narrated by Football London, who reported that Hojbjerg “didn’t seem best pleased that Kulusevski had put the ball out rather than play on as the team could have pushed on towards the Wolves box.”
The Dane was evidently frustrated with his teammate and could be seen raising his hands in questioning.
Diego Costa’s injury resulted in him being stretchered off the field, adding to Tottenham’s woes.
The team went on to lose the match 1-0, with Adama Traore scoring a late winner for Wolves.
This loss was a significant blow to Tottenham’s hopes of finishing in the top four with Liverpool just behind them with two games in hand.
