Daniel Levy has made another announcement in order to keep the fans in the loop. A 30-year tranche probably means a lot to some financial wizards but to me, I see another potential obstacle to normal football practice, later down the line.
What is interesting here is that Levy has seized another rearranging deckchair on the Titanic moment in order to remind everyone how stabilizing the effect on matters ENIC have. As if ENIC didn’t create this situation in the first instance, by underinsuring and overexposing the club in the first place.
An alternate view is that had the money spent on capital assets has instead been spent on players – then a debt of such size would never have been run-up. That would have been ‘doing a Leeds’ territory. How many players would ENIC have to have bought, in order to have spent £1.4 or £1.5 billion?
I don’t care what the money was spent on, we’re up to ears in the debt, with no stadium sponsors, no manager (for some two months or so, now), and still no sign of being in the running for winning anything.
At least our credit rating is sky high, eh?
Speaking of France, I watched Mbappe a bit against Germany and the difference is astonishing. Whenever Mbappe got on the ball, it was “all hands on deck”, and he was lethal on the counter-attack.
You really don’t want to ever trail this France side.
If the cops even kettle the left/liberal demonstrators it’s of course always a form of police brutality.
These same folks wanted to remain in the EU where countries like Spain and Italy have routinely violent police that kick the cr*p out of English fans whenever they visit for example…
Sterling is very good at a few things, generally related to his quickness. Other than that he lacks quality, he’d never get in the French side, for example…
It would be nice if Levy would also convey as much earnestness when addressing the fans.
I think you need to find a way to “activate” and “engage” with the people that generate all this match day revenue that you keep putting all you’re weight behind Daniel. It’s their money and not yours.
So no wonder you sound so sycophantic towards these sponsors and lenders. Again, it’s their money and not yours…
Tell that to Moura. Kane has not gotten us into any position we ended up in on his own, but you seem to not realize his big game failures are glaring for Spurs. But why worry when we can bash Levy all day. Kane is often injured during important stretches for the club.
Is Sterling undroppable? No matter how sh-t he is, he always seems to play.
I can’t get my head around the logic of bringing on Grealish only to remove Kane five minutes later – with Grealish, he might actually get a chance or two in the box.
Why has that idiot Southgate taken off Foden? Sterling has been cr*p as usual and why do we play with two defensive midfield players?
Riot police for the general citizens. Kneeling for the subverters.
Nicola Sturgeon must be laughing her little cotton socks off as 20,000 Scottish fans maraud through London whilst the gallant Met Police stand idly by. Perhaps our beloved mayor will send the bill to Holyrood for the clean up. If you are the BLM or Extinction Rebellion, the Met will embrace you but if you are the EDL , they will kick the sh*t out of you.
Bonny Scots to win tonight….🤑
maybe not- but without him we wouldn’t have got there in the first place
Harry has not hit the mittens of the goal keeper in 3 finals. Just saying.
Nary a mention of the football side or the fans. This is not our club anymore, just a soulless institution more interested in land and property development than football. I could cry, but where Levy is concerned I have no tears left to weep.
You mean there’s nothing as dumb as the Levy apologists I think. Some of us sussed him out a long time ago, unfortunately those morons continued supporting him.
All that money doesn’t seem to be making him very happy though does it? Or is his face fixed in that permanent scowl?
Another annoying statement from an annoying little man. No thanks for the supporters who pay his gross salary I notice. Not including me of course as I’ve even pulled the plug on Sky Sports to avoiding enic getting any of my money whatsoever. Netflix and pc gaming will do me nicely plus highlights of the real clubs when they play. Watching Levy’s antics is just too stressful and to quote oft used analogy leaves me with the feeling of being aboard the Titanic with Lewis and Levy in charge of the ship with the doors to the bridge securely locked from the inside and both saying “what iceberg?”
he needs to rather sharpishly otherwise we could be relegation fodder. The teams results since Feb confirm that. With no Harry we are finished.
I think the THFC stress is turning H’s beard whiter.
Unfortunately Lewis doesn’t give a toss by the look of things – too busy counting money on his yacht!
It’s time for the rat to get out of the kitchen! How many ceo’s would survive with 1 triumph in 22 years?? Mr Lewis needs to sort this mess. We go from one PR disaster to the next. Brand value is being damaged and sponsors will be even harder to find. We are a laughing stock across the football world. Billy Nic must be turning in his grave. Shame on you THFC
Levy & ENIC know there’s nothing as dumb as the average football supporter. They will keep on doing what they’re doing. Sadly, there’s nothing to stop them.
And we have nice shiny stuff for the brainless zombies to buy. Bless their little rotten socks.
