Personal terms agreed: Fabrizio Romano shares exciting update as Spurs close in on transfer

By Mehdi Gokal -

Tottenham have agreed personal terms with Genoa centre-back Radu Dragusin.

That’s according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano who claims that Spurs have agreed terms with the player and now the two clubs are left to negotiate the deal.

He claims that the negotiations are ongoing with the Serie A side who are seeking a €30m fee while Spurs are willing to spend up to €25m.

He shared the update on X:

“Understand Tottenham have agreed personal terms with Radu Dragusin on long term contract.”

“Negotiations ongoing with Genoa as revealed two days ago.”

“Genoa want €30m fee, Spurs want to spend around €25m. Talks progressing.”

The difference between the asking price and what Spurs are willing to spend is not a lot and it is only a matter of time until the two clubs come to an agreement on a fee as well.

Tottenham want to sign a new centre-back as soon as the window opens due to their ongoing injury issues that has seen both Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero sidelined with hamstring injuries.

The Dutch defender suffered an injury during the game against Chelsea and has been out since then. He is expected to be back mid January.

Meanwhile Romero is out for the next 4 to 5 weeks.
