Owen predicts how Tottenham will perform against an in form Fulham

By Bruce Grove -

Tottenham will take on Fulham in their next league game hoping to get a win after their recent poor run of form.

They have been terrible recently and threw away a 1-0 lead to draw 1-1 against Wolves the last time out.

They were top of the table before the festive period, but their failure to win any of their games since their 2-0 win over Arsenal has pushed them away from the Premier League’s top four.

Fulham started this season poorly, but they have now gotten some form in their bid to avoid relegation.

One of their finest results recently was earning a 1-1 draw against Liverpool in this extraordinary season that continues to be unpredictable.

Spurs will face the Cottagers with only a win in mind because they will not want to lose more ground in the title race.

They are already 6 points behind Liverpool and if the Reds win and they don’t that would take them further away from the title race and put a huge question mark over a top-four finish, but Michael Owen thinks that they will win.

He backs Jose Mourinho’s men to earn a 2-0 win over their London rivals.

“Despite a slight upturn in fortunes, Fulham go into this as huge outsiders,” Owen told BetVictor as quoted by Thesportreview.

“They may set up to frustrate Spurs here, but with Son and Kane going forward, the home side should have enough to take the points.

“Jose Mourinho’s men have been professional all season, and I think they’ll set out to break the deadlock early. If that materialises, I could see them running out comfortable winners.”
