“One of the best strikers” – Luke Shaw has high praise for Harry Kane

By Eddie Razo -

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is on the verge of becoming the England national team’s all-time leading goal scorer. The 28-year-old scored his 49th goal for The Three Lions during their friendly against Switzerland and now stands four goals away from tying Wayne Rooney.

Following the fixture, Manchester United and England international Luke Shaw didn’t hide his thoughts on how he sees Kane. The 26-year-old stated that Kane is ‘probably’ the best striker in world football.

“I don’t see why not,” Shaw said, per 90min. “For me at the moment, the way he’s playing, he’s one of the best strikers in the world, probably the best. So hopefully, you can keep that form up, keep it going.”

“He’s showing it week in, week out at the moment and it’s a joy to watch. Long may that continue and I’m sure he will be hunting another Golden Boot and all the other records.”

The Spurs striker could break Rooney’s record at the FIFA World Cup later this year, and considering his age, Kane could pad his lead atop of the standings considering he has at least two major tournaments in his future if health and form permit him.

Kane will be leaned on heavily as the England national team hopes to reach another final at an international competition in Qatar. Last year, The Three Lions reached the UEFA Euro final but fell to Italy.

I saw that. Supposedly minor problem should be ready for next game but then again we’ve heard that line before.

Meanwhile Ben Davies has returned early from international duty with a slight muscular problem, no mention of that here, and at least that is a fact instead of heresay.

It must be hard to manufacture content when there’s nothing really to say as this comment proves.
