Any Tottenham move for Juventus forward Paulo Dybala is likely already dead after the Old Ladies’ asking price for the Argentinean was revealed.
Gazzetta Dello Sport via football London has just revealed that the Italians are open to allowing the Tottenham target to leave as long as their asking price for his signature is met.
They have just fired Maurizio Sarri and named Andrea Pirlo as their next boss. The former midfielder is expected to oversee a number of departures and incomings as he stamps his authority on the club.
This has made a number of players dispensable this summer, and Dybala is one of them.
Tottenham is looking to bolster their team, and they have previously targeted Dybala.
They even attempted to buy him a couple of summers ago, but the deal never went through (Goal).
Now that he has become available for sale, some fans may think that the Lilywhites will make a move for him.
The report, however, adds that the Old Ladies are demanding a transfer fee in the region of £100 million, a figure that will drive the Lilywhites to their other targets.
Dybala remains one of the most talented attackers in the world, but there is no guarantee that he will thrive in England and at that price certainly not with Tottenham.
