Breaking news form Ladbrokes this morning as Tottenham are yet again the biggest market movers in the Premier League title race. Currently, at 7/1, only a few weeks ago in early in October, one could have found the boys at 16/1. To some extent the league looks wide open, with Man City in 10th-place in the table and five points off league leaders Liverpool, yet the bookies still make them 13/10 favourites in the betting to lift the title.
Elsewhere, Liverpool are close behind at 7/4, with Tottenham now the third-most likely side in the betting at 7/1.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes told The Boy Hotspur: “City haven’t exactly flown out of the traps this season but Liverpool hardly look convincing either, so it’s no surprise to see Pep’s men head the betting at this early stage.”
Tottenham under Mourinho are looking increasingly like a side being moulded into shape by the master. Once the gaffer can widen his inner circle of player that he trusts, then the greater depth Spurs can offer to fight on all fronts.

Could take us top for a few hours, another big test.
But the silver lining for that game is we are away from home, which we are smashing & grabbing so far.
So could be a big score unless W.Brom play super defensive
Not long out of the blocks man. Still low down driving forward slowly rising up (not moving our heads) upright full flight soon come
The west brom game is so important for confidence going into the three bigger games after that. I fancy us a lot against the expansive ball playing teams.

Oh yeah you’re right “the man with the x ray eyes🌚. Why was I thinking ” if. Must be a b movie too.

Defo a great example of a B Movie and a great ending, but the quote is from the bible “And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire”. Bit of a mouthful though, I prefer the shortened version.

“Pluck them out” – From The Man with the X-Ray eyes, starring Ray Milland, directed by Roger Corman. One of the great cheesy B Movies.
The opposite is happening with my £30 sky bet for Spurs to win the league – offering less back now…I think City, Chelsea and Liverpool all winning means this was actually seen as ‘the boys are back in town’ week for the favourites.
If we beat West Brom and then some of those three drop points then those odds might really shift.
Players don’t read this blog? You’d be surprised. They read a lot in hotels. What made you think players don’t read stuff written about them? Wouldn’t you? Straight to the comments
The players don’t read this blog. I’m not saying I’m not hopeful, but we have played better and won more in a row before. Very recently infact. And have still achieved the sum total of sweet FA. Let’s all just temper our expectations for a bit. I told all my friends we were looking good this year only for us to immediately put in a couple of poor performances and lose to Antwerp. Felt a right pillock.
No man. Let the players know we believe in them. Let them feel the vibes from the fans. YOU CAN WIN THE LEAGUE TOTTENHAM now go do it. Come fe CONQUER, no doubt.
In fact, looking at points totals and games in hand (but not who is playing who) we could be as low as 10th when everyone is on 8 games. Let’s just calm down or we’re gonna look very stupid – and other teams fans won’t hesitate to remind us.
Far, far, far too early. One win when others don’t and we’re top – a defeat when others around us win and we could be 6th/7th… Next 4 games are going to be massive. Doesn’t get much easier after that (when does it in the Prem) but with 3 of the next 4 being City, Arsenal and Chelsea we’ll know more after that.
“If your eyes offend you pull them out” “if, the film
We’ll have to play better than the last 3 matches to stand a chance of winning the title. But if we start improving who knows? It’s a funny old season. Personally I’m not even thinking about it yet because it’s so close at the top which is giving many teams the same feeling.
My eyes my eyes..stop burning my eyes..!!!
