Tottenham fans have reacted to Nuno Espirito Santo’s pre-match comments ahead of their game against Newcastle United tomorrow.
Spurs have endured an inconsistent start to this season after losing three straight league games from game week 4.
They have since returned to form with a 2-1 win over Aston Villa before the international break.
Their next match is against Newcastle United in a sold-out St James’ Park.
It would be a tough fixture with the Magpies’ fans expected to cheer on their stars after their recent takeover.
Nuno Santo knows his team needs to get all the points to keep the Spurs fans happy and says he expects the atmosphere to be hostile against his team.
However, it is the players’ job to ignore the home crowd and get on with why they are at the stadium.
