“Not good enough”, “…rest of them are dogs” – O’Hara goes on an incredible rant after Wolves defeat

By Mehdi Gokal -

Jamie O’Hara brutally criticised Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou after the defeat against Wolves.

A depleted Tottenham took an early lead inside three minutes, with Brennan Johnson finishing off a brilliantly worked team goal.

However, it was one of the very few chances Spurs made with Wolves being the better side for the majority part of the game.

Tottenham did well to hold onto the lead until the stoppage time.

Tireless Wolves pressed hard and eventually got their goal in the stoppage time with Sarabia coming off the bench to score a beautiful goal.

And 5 minutes later Wolves scored the winner to compete a shocking turnaround. Sarabia turned provider this time as Lemina won the game for the home side in the 97th minute.

Ange Postecoglou after the game admitted that it was not the result they wanted but suggested that some of the players lost their legs towards the end of the game.

Former Spurs midfielder turned pundit Jamie O’Hara was fuming after the game and very harshly criticised the Australian.

Speaking on TalkSport, he said:

“He’s not playing in Scotland with Celtic where the rest of them are dogs.. You are playing against top sides. Wolves are a good team at home. They have some good players, good manager.”

“If you keep making the same stupid mistakes where you keep playing Gung ho football. A point is not a bad result.”

“The players we’ve got aren’t good enough. This is the problem!”

TBH Says:

O’Hara insists Spurs should not stick to playing the attacking football all the time and switch through tactics depending on the situation. But Ange last week made it clear that he is not that sort of manager. He does not believe in defensive football.

The critism is extremely harsh given that Ange’s methods have worked so far. He knows what he’s doing, he just needs the players and squad to implement it.
