Tottenham fans could soon see a rise in the cost of their club kits as Nike is reportedly planning a price increase.
The sportswear giant, which has been working with Spurs since 2017, is preparing to implement these changes ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Currently, the men’s stadium version of the Tottenham shirt is priced at £85, with the elite version costing £125. When combined with shorts and socks, the full kit costs between £148 and £188.
However, according to Footy Headlines, fans should brace for a “notable price hike” in the near future.
The report suggests that the price for the stadium shirts will rise from £73 to £80, while the elite versions are set to increase from £130 to £134. This would mark Nike’s first price adjustment since 2023.
The partnership between Tottenham and Nike began in 2017, with designs that paid tribute to important moments in the club’s history, such as the 1960–61 season when Spurs won both the First Division and the FA Cup. Nike’s long-term deal with the club, signed in 2018, is valued at £30 million per year and runs until 2033.
TBH Says:
With inflation already straining budgets, many Tottenham supporters are likely to be frustrated by this development.
The rising cost of kits may make it harder for some fans to engage with the club’s merchandise, especially at a time when living costs are increasing globally.
This price hike could affect the way fans support the club through purchases in the future.
