Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Argentine forward Alejo Veliz.
The 19-year-old is highly rated in South America and he has been a key player for Rosario Central this season.
The talented young forward has 11 goals in 23 appearances across all competitions and he is a target for the North London club.
Fabrizio Romano has now confirmed that the player ‘has agreed personal terms’ with Tottenham and he ‘wants to join’ the club this summer.
‘Negotiations are underway between clubs’ and it remains to be seen whether they can secure an agreement soon. Veliz could cost around £11.8 million.

Veliz could prove to be a quality, long-term acquisition for the Premier League club and the opportunity to play for the Londoners will be an attractive option for the player as well.
The 19-year-old will look to fulfil his potential in the coming seasons and regular football in the Premier League could aid his development.
Tottenham striker Harry Kane has been linked with a move away from the club and Spurs will need to bring in adequate replacements if the England international decides to move on.
Although Veliz is still quite young to replace a player like Kane, he could be a useful squad option for Ange Postecoglou next season. The 19-year-old will look to establish himself as a starter for Tottenham in the coming seasons and he is likely to develop further with coaching and experience.
The move could prove to be a masterstroke in the long run if he manages to fulfil his potential with Spurs.
