Tottenham full-back Sergio Reguilon has returned to the club after Manchester United activated the break clause in his loan deal earlier in this transfer window.
He has returned to Spurs, but they do not intend to retain him and are seeking to ship him out to another club during this window.
Premier League side Brentford are one of the clubs who are interested in signing him this month. A recent report from Daily Mail claimed that the Bees are keen on signing the defender, and they are currently in talks to sign the player on loan.
Romano has shared a similar update, claiming that negotiations between the two clubs have already taken place.
The transfer expert notes that Brentford are not the only club pursuing the Spaniard, as there is interest from other clubs as well.
The final decision regarding Reguilon’s destination is expected to be made by the player, who is likely to make a decision before the end of the transfer window.
He shared the update on X:

Other than Brentford, Borussia Dortmund have recently shown interest in him, and so has Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma.
Regardless of which club he joins, Romano states that the defender is still expected to leave the club this month.
