“My injury is 100 times better” – Boost for Spurs as Tottenham star shares positive news ahead of Luton game

By Mehdi Gokal -

Richarlison was an unused substitute during Brazil’s 1-0 win over England earlier tonight.

The Brazilian striker has been recovering from a knee injury he sustained during the match against Wolves last month.

He missed the games against Crystal Palace and Aston Villa due to the injury. However, he was back for the match against Fulham, coming on as a substitute to play the final 10 minutes.

Leading up to Brazil’s match against England, Richarlison confirmed that his knee now feels much better and that he is training with his international teammates.

The forward told CGTN Sports Scene:

“Today I can say that my injury is 100 times better than it was. Before I went to the field already thinking about going home to solve the problem, today I can go to train calmly, I can go to play calmly.”

While he was fit enough to make the bench, he remained an unused substitute as 17-year-old Endrick scored the only goal of the game to win it for Brazil.

Their next game is against Spain on 27th March, and it is possible that Richarlison will feature.

Spurs fans will hope that he comes back from the break without an injury, or an aggravation.
