Multiple dives, bad refereeing, it’s all here in Tottenham v Man Utd match highlights (Video)

By Bruce Grove -

Tottenham can consider themselves very unlucky not to have picked up all three points at the Tottenham stadium last night.

Man Utd dominated possession but that was the Jose Mourinho game plan and if it was not for the determination of referee Jon Moss to make sure that United got something from the game, Spurs would have won. Simple as that.

The first penalty was as soft as they come, whereas the second one was nothing short of a joke but you cannot blame the United players for diving when they know that the referee is itching to give them a spot-kick.

Anyway, here is the video highlights from the Tottenham Youtube channel.

Most pundits think it was a fair enough result with United maybe shading it. A team that attacks is going to have more opportunities to win penalties than a team that sits in, it’s that simple, no conspiracy here. Also our brainless defenders should know that opposition players are looking for contact, well don’t oblige them please.

It’s utter nonsense. I guess you cannot look beyond being a frustrated Spurs fan. If anyone deserved the three points, it was definitely United. They played a lot better than Spurs. You should have a De Gea howler, Hugo Lloris’ brilliance, and some wasteful finishing from United to thank for the point, instead of blaming the referee. The second penalty wasn’t a penalty and was rightfully ruled our by VAR, so you can have no complaints about it. Spurs is a poor team managed by a manager with his best day long behind him. You will be nowhere near the champions league places come the end of the season.
