Jose Mourinho was the epitome of class on his return to Old Trafford.
He waited patiently in the tunnel to greet his former Manchester United players before kick-off. Lucky Sergio Romero even got a kiss.
He shook every player’s hand from both sides at full time.
He even admitted that United were the better team in his immediate post-match interview, insisting that they deserved their 2-1 victory.

But you can’t hide an instinct for mischievousness forever, and Mourinho’s mask slipped when speaking to the press a little later after the final whistle.
The Portuguese could not resist a sly dig at United’s counter-attacking style under his successor Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, saying they are suited to playing “better teams”. Watch the video below to see for yourself.

Okay, so Mourinho was *almost* the epitome of class on his return to Old Trafford.
I’m not entirely convinced that manure’s superiority wasn’t almost entirely down to application, work rate and attitude; rather than anything tactical.
Sessey is a left winger now mate we have rose davies and verts at left back.. Not natural for verts but he did ok i thought…. Aurier couldnt hit a cross for 65 minutes then suddenly he started hitting them good, and looking dangerous. I like him but see why you dont.. Ndombele i think can become great. Winksy not so sure, i like the lad but i fear hes tom carroll in disguise
It was a disappointing performance and Sissoko’s sheer physical clumsiness gave Utd the momentum at the beginning of the second half and restored Utd’s confidence. Having Aurier and Sissoko anywhere near an opponents forward in our penalty box is a disaster waiting to happen. That is why Mourinho has pushed him forward so he spends more time in the opponents half than ours. Yesterday Sissoko and Winks was an epic fail. Sissoko feel deep playing almost in RB positions at times. This left just Winks in midfield yet he rarely ventures deep in to the opponents half and so the front four of Kane, Son, Moura and Ali get isolated. Sanchez is good in the air defending but poor in distribution. Verts is much more capable alongside Toby of carrying the ball foward from deep positions. Nondembele is the best player we have who can carry the ball and thread passes into the channels for the forwards but he does not appear to be getting much of a shout from Mourinho at present and that has to change. Auriers crossing was appalling yesterday and having Eriksen anywhere near the squad is a waste of time. He has totally left the squad mentally. I suspect that the club believe he is going to hold out for a free in the summer and they feel that if they paying his wages he should be used. If he had any character likeToby has shown he would be out there trying his hardest to show the world what a great player he his but he is worried about picking up an injury I think and is just going through the motions. Sessegnon needs a run out at leftback and I would give LoCelso and Nodembele more matchtime to see if they can settle in to the squad. Cameo appearances are not doing them any good or the team.
