José Mourinho casting more light (for those fans that might need it) upon his selection policies in today’s pre-West Ham press conference. This game will be the first that the gaffer has had all 6 of his attacking outfield players available for selection.
Naturally, that will come with a caveat that many of them are still coming to terms with not having played competitively for many months, but I’m sure that won’t prevent some fans from taking to Twitter 10minutes in demanding to know why so and so isn’t playing…
Dele Alli is available and who he replaces will be a head-scratcher, I really hope that Lamela can be given the opportunity to put a run together.
Dele Alli was banned for his inappropriate airport lounge video, and so missed the game against Manchester United.
Dele will play, how else is he going to get any game time and Lamela will be benched, no use getting
him injured, two games in a row is asking for trouble with Erik.
Lamela did enough to warrant another start ahead of Dele. Dele should be on the bench unless he fancies right back!
