Mourinho Calls Out The “same players that got Poch sacked” These fans also point the finger at “the ones who kick the ball”|video

By The Boy -

It was difficult to imagine that the half-hearted performance Spurs served up here last November could be made to look authoritative, but lo and behold, that was a masterclass compared to last night’s fiasco.

We’ll deep dive into the tactics and the performances as this extremely long day progresses, but any talk of this being all Mourinho’s fault defies scrutiny, unless of course the Portuguese told his players to disappoint in virtually every department.

These fans aren’t buying the twaddle that the players push in their interviews and are looking for action.

I dont have a problem with how Mourinho summed up the performance and what went with it in the MOTD interview. What I dont get is why he has suddenly decided to leave out Toby and Vert in favour of Dier and Sanchez. I dont like that combination and last night showed why , oddly enough, Mourinho has a certain way with players that can damage the relationship between them, so the next game will be interesting to see how they all react.

I wouldn’t know where to start to express my disappointment but we can’t blame everything the manager every time. We lack quality! We have players that can’t even pass the ball. Aurier is a big problem. Sanchez can’t pass from the back, we missed those long diagonals from Toby. Son has been bang average lately. Moura just not good enough. We are also badly in need of a proper number 10.

There is much more I can ad but it’s becoming painful watching us play. I was better off when there was no football.

Yes, too slow, too many touches, no width.

He’s never a fit, he takes up the place of someone who can contribute week in week out. He’s had seven wasted years, the fact he’s still here shows you why we can never win anything with this mentality.

Who won the ball in defence to start the move for Kanes goal vs WH. If the team had the attitude of Lamela and put themselves about as he does then we wouldn’t be foundering. And he sets up or scores a goal or two as well!
It is Dele who is a waste of space now.

Cant disagree and feel sad after this game.
They did nothing 1st half and scored a simple goal while we contrived to create chances that were almost golden and them screwed them up.
We could have been 2 nil up by the time they scored their 1st.
The disallowed goal affected them yes but they looked awful anyway, too many passes, too intricate with the final ball being crap

Just watched the video, expletive deleted, we are in trouble. I don’t think I have ever heard a manager say that about his team. And it’s all true. Either Levy let’s Mourinho bring in five or six new top class players or I think he’ll resign.

I watched Sissoko hit a shot from the edge of the penalty box, it literally trundled to the keeper. A veil lifted from my eyes. Here is a midfielder who never scores but can run all day. I never rated him but I have bought into the story of his improvement, his hard work his great attitude, that’s all true, but how bad are the players around him I think he’s good. Truth is he’s not a very good footballer.

Lamela waste of space, yet beloved by a section of fans, why? Because he tries. Yes he tries, what does that tell you about the rest of them. The fact he’s still employed shows you how dysfunctional this club is.

Aurier, fantastic at standing watching the opposition go by him. New contract before Man City and Liverpool come calling. That’s just three that come to mind.

Matthew Hogg puts it into a nutshell . 4 years ago we had the BEST defence in the PL and now this . Only Spurs .

I stopped watching at HT fearing the worst but even I didnt expect that shambles. Goal No.2 was a tap in which is unforgiveable. At least one bit of good news from after the match…..South Yorkshire police took into custody a Mr Serge Alain Stephane Aurier for impersonating a PL FB. Charges may follow.

Yes yes I know he was far from alone in being useless last night but we cant get rid of them all apart from Harry.

I keep saying it and totally agree that the defence was amazing, but how much do we miss dembele??? He made dier and wanyama look good, gave others the freedom to get forward, and the fact we spent some money on Ndombele just tells me there’s nobody looking into players background because the boy clearly has talent but his heads up his arse big time. A proper scout would have known all this. Very very dark times ahead

We chased the game and he got sick of Aurier wasting chance after chance to put a decent cross in. Bringing on Verts was an act of desperation. Its just painful to think that 3 seasons ago we had the best back four in the Premier League.

i dont buy into the mentaity problom -its been said for over a decade covering at least four managers and four squads – so did we collapsed in Europe aginst the top top side,s bullshit. last season we had an exhusted squad who reached the heights and long overdue for a refresh – poch carried the can. we still have a tired squad insome respects who played free flowing football now being asked to change to suit mo,s negitive brand -who would want to turn up for training let alone play, the glory has gone for these players. we get told the defence was being worked on as a priority .right , so we leave out two of the best central defenders in europe re convert a midfileder to defence and get spanked, one win in eight tells a story

Was at work last night, so had the 5 live coverage on. He needs to hold his hand up as well, because both Michael brown and Alan Green between them said 3 times in the second half alone, I don’t see a shape at all here. The whole thing is an absolute shambles
