Tottenham are preparing for some significant changes in the upcoming summer transfer window as they aim to bolster their squad across several key positions.
Manager Ange Postecoglou is said to be prioritising the signing of a new striker, midfielder, and defender to strengthen the team ahead of the next season.
In addition to these primary targets, Spurs are also keen on adding another full-back and a left-sided attacker to their squad.
Tottenham are expected to offload several players to facilitate these new signings.
Giovani Lo Celso, Emerson Royal, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, and Bryan Gil are all expected to be sold during the upcoming transfer window.
Emerson Royal, in particular, has been attracting significant interest from various clubs.
AC Milan have shown interest in the Brazilian defender, and according to journalist Tom Barclay, two more clubs are now vying for his signature.
Mega-rich Saudi club Al Nassr are reportedly ready to make a move for Emerson this summer, having previously had a bid rejected by Spurs in the January window.
Additionally, Bayern Munich is said to be monitoring Emerson’s situation closely.
Barclay shared the following update on X:
“Understand Cristiano Ronaldo’s Saudi side Al-Nassr are ready to go back in for Emerson Royal this summer, after bid rejected in Jan. AC Milan also keen, while I’m told Bayern are monitoring his situation.”

Emerson has not been a primary choice for Spurs’ manager Ange Postecoglou this season. He lost his place in the starting XI to Pedro Porro who has become a vital part of the way Ange has his team set up.
The 25-year-old former Barcelona defender has made 21 Premier League appearances this season, starting only 11 of them, but has struggled to secure a regular starting position.
With the club seemingly having made their mind up about selling him, it is interesting to see which club ends up signing him.
