Man United & Man City in a two-horse race for Harry Kane, bookies say

By The Boy -

MANCHESTER UNITED AND CITY lead the way in the race to sign Harry Kane, according to Ladbrokes.

The England striker has told Tottenham he wants to leave the club in the summer, and the bookies currently make United 7/4 favourites for his signature, with City just behind at 2/1.

Elsewhere, every other club is currently 6/1 or bigger for a mega-money summer move, with Arsenal being unlikely 50/1 shots at this point.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes told The Boy: “Spurs’ season is going from bad to worse and with Kane now seemingly wanting out, it looks as though it’ll be a two-horse race between the Manchester giants for his signature.”

Harry Kane’s Next Club

Man Utd – 7/4

Man City – 2/1

Chelsea – 6/1PSG – 9/1

Liverpool – 20/1

Real Madrid – 20/1

Arsenal – 50/1

Been in the pipeline for some time I would think. No one factor, just a realisation that things will never change at Levyland.

All of the above were showing signs of frustration with Levy. Kane deserves to get out before he too is going through the motions.

If city buy Kane or Haaland they will walk the lot, it’s absolutely disgusting the amount of money them, Chelsea and ManU throw about but it gets results so can’t blame them for it one bit. If only Levy had invested half decent figures in Poch’s last 3 seasons we would have been in with a fantastic chance of one or two trophies, instead he skipped transfer windows like they were the plague.

He certainly never particularly wanted Aurier at Spurs. Then again that might have been before he taught him how to take a throw in!

Ultimately & I’ve said this before the biggest issue is midfield.. its dysfunctional.. Jose found a method that kind of worked but when results suffered & fans started raising there voices he changed to placate them.. this had limited success against teams in the bottom half but against those that have a bit of quality in midfield & up front we struggled & got overwhelmed which is essentially where we are today… our central midfield lacks the fluidity, energy & discipline to cope with the better teams… whomever the new manager is he is going to have to get Tanguy interested & get 40-50% more out of Winks, Alli, lo no show & Lamela…if not we can look forward to finishing between 8th & 12th…

Well, I know for a fact that the Kane camp haven’t been happy since Poch wasn’t backed and left.

A player doesn’t spend half the day at his manager’s house the day after he’s been sacked unless there was a close bond.

Like I say, Jose was seen as the last throw of the dice. Kane was close to doing this last summer, six months after Jose was installed.

Bale was also an attempt to placate Kane, the whole things is just one big f*cking mess, again created by you know who…

What good are goals and assists for two players if you don’t play as a team?

Carrick
Berbatov
Modric
Bale
Defoe
Walker
Trippier*
Eriksen

All of them (Trippier still pending) have won league titles only after leaving Spurs.

ENIC are a shower of shit, and Levy is a horrific pastiche of the worst kind of control freak supervillains.

There used to be a football club on White Hart Lane.

I disagree Jose being a multiple winner was viewed as the one person who could raise spurs players & their game the extra few % to make top 4 every season… but it failed for a few reasons . most of the players didnt respond to his instructions, the majority of the football played after the Leceister defeat wasnt eye catching, the likely harsh realisation that some of the sqaud wasnt good enough, the MSM questioning the omittance of Bale & Alli who Mourinho wanted to both sell/didnt want, and previous winning methods like taking off under performing players at half time likely causing sqaud fragmentation and he was essentially managing with one hand behind his back tied.

Alternatively, Levy goes all out and gets Brendan Rodgers as manager and gives him a transfer kitty of £300m for the summer window and Kane stays.

Nah forget it. My first post is much, much more realistic.

Levy will try to get £200m for Kane. The saga will drag on for the whole summer with a transfer for £90m happening on the last day of the window and we’ll rush in an N’Anyone punt from the French league for £7m. T’was ever thus in ENIC land.

Spurs are just a selling club that wins nothing. Even Harry who is in love with the club can’t stand it anymore. Well done Daniel you’ve driven out the only truly world class player we had. What would we do without the poison dwarf in charge? Easy answer; win trophies on a regular basis and have a happy Harry who would never want to leave.

Look at the amount of games we threw away leads & points: newcastle, west ham, wolves…couple that with important games we werent at the races in & well the net result is fairly obvious and if Kane goes, Son will run down his contract

I think Kanes mind was made up within 2 weeks of the cup final…he wants to win trophies & levy sacked the one manager who had the best hopes of getting him that… Mourinho has his critics but I doubt Kane & Son would have the goals/assists they have now if he wasnt there manager…good news for levy is he should get more for Kane than say 12 months ago ..

The not buying Dias was the kick in the teeth and sacking Jose before a final probably pushed him over the edge. Jose might have been the one to placate kane . And upto the Anfield game I think kane would have felt there was a chance of winning something.

They could thrash, Kyle Walker, Trippier, Danny Rose and Eriksen but they’ll have their work cut with Harry.

Interesting that it’s reported he has asked to leave but not put in a transfer request.

Kane deserves to go to City and win everything. Even if he just plays 25 prem games a season, he’ll still score a minimum 25 goals. Can just see Levy’s corporate signing,Todd Kline, cringing as he wonders how on earth can he sell the stadium naming rights to anyone when it won’t have any worthwhile players in it!

Yes, I think fans will be more focused on the outright murder of a football club, 1 league cup in 20 plus years and the talismanic star player who probably kept this side in the top half or even the division wanting to leave. Not 2 pointless matches. They are incredible these clowns.

A Madrid are two games away from winning the league….400m on a state of the art stadium and they still focus on football…..no one needed to spend 1.2b on a stadium unless they are property developers…Levy and co are sharks…I’ve been saying this after 3-4 years of their ownership whilst being a season ticket holder and always got rinsed by my fellow yids…..I was always right…

I thought this was coming.

Kane was happy to stay when Pochettino was still there, I know for a fact that since then that Kane and his family have become frustrated with the whole situation since the summer window after the CL final. They’ve been looking beyond having any more of their time wasted by Levy, for about 18 months.

Jose was never seen as the solution, it was a desperate punt by Levy that they agreed to go along with for a bit to see if it worked. He has been seriously let down and promised things which never came to fruition for quite some time. He and his folks have had enough…
