Manchester City are reportedly keen on signing James Maddison from Tottenham Hotspur at the end of the season.

The Premier League champions are looking to bring in a quality replacement for Kevin De Bruyne, and they have identified the England International as a target. The Tottenham midfielder has done quite well since joining the club, and he has 11 goals and nine assists to his name this season.

According to a report from Fichajes, Manchester City are willing to submit a £60 million offer for the player. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham are willing to consider a sale. He has been linked with Aston Villa as well.

Maddison is undoubtedly one of their best players, and they will not want to weaken the squad further. They will be hoping to fight for trophies in the coming season, and they cannot afford to sell their best players to their rivals. He has been labelled as Tottenham’s “main man” earlier this season.

It will be interesting to see how the situation develops over the next few weeks.

The Belgian midfielder has confirmed that he will leave Manchester City at the end of the season, and they will need to replace him adequately. He has been a world-class performer for them, and replacing him will not be easy for Manchester City, even with their resources.

Tottenham must keep James Maddison

As for Tottenham, it has been a disappointing season, and the fans will expect them to bounce back strongly next year. They cannot hope to do that without their best players. Keeping the England international at the club should be one of their priorities.

Also, it seems highly unlikely that Spurs will sell a player of his quality for £60 million. Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is a difficult man to negotiate with, and he will probably demand an absurd amount of money to sell one of his best players, if Manchester City decide to come calling.
