Luke Chadwick says only two other players possess the qualities of Harry Kane

By Eddie Razo -

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is experiencing great form as the north London club prepares for the season’s final stretch to finish in the top four. Spurs will lean on the 28-year-old, hoping he can tip the scale on their side to leap over Arsenal into that fourth-place spot.

However, if Spurs fail to finish in the top four, questions regarding Kane’s future will surface. Reports linking the England international to Manchester United are already coming out. Kane checks off the Red Devils are looking for a proven striker.

Manchester United is reportedly pursuing the Spurs man due to Kane being a world-class striker and not many having the qualities he has, as former midfielder Luke Chadwick stated to CaughtOffside

“Harry Kane is a proven goalscorer, one of the best in the Premier League. He has guaranteed Tottenham goals for the last six or seven seasons. When you look at the strikers who can offer you that kind of volume of goals, you’re probably looking at three in world football – Harry Kane, Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe,” Chadwick said.

“If Kane is set to move on but if United don’t make the Champions League will it be to them? – Don’t get me wrong, I would absolutely love to see him up top playing for United. I think he would change everything. I don’t think United have had someone who can offer that kind of volume of goals for a long time. You give him chances and you know exactly what he’s going to do.”

Despite the rumors, ESPN’s Gabriele Marcotti isn’t buying this rumor linking Kane to Manchester United, and he goes on to poke holes in the reporting. Nonetheless, if The Red Devils appoint former Spurs man Mauricio Pochettino as their manager, the rumors will only get louder.

From what I’ve seen from reports and youtube footage taken by Ukranians and the press it’s the Russians that are taking a beating. They’ve lost well over 1000 armoured vehicles including a conservative 580 main battle tanks, plus around 200 aircraft and helicopters. The losses have been totted up from photographic evidence too which is available online.
The Ukranians have defended very skillfully and made the Russians pay dearly for every yard of ground. Recently they have gone on the offensive and have retaken many towns and villages in the north around Kyev and pushed the Russians back over 30km.
The Russian infantry have been described as “cowardly” and in poor spirit, and their equipment poorly maintained, much of it suffering failures or breaking down.
Ukranian drones have taken a big toll of Russian vehicles and whole supply columns have been wiped out leaving the invaders very short of supplies and ammunition etc.
Of course Putin prefers to say his forces are “withdrawing” from Kyev and Kharkiv – just like the German army “withdrew” from Normandy in 1944 lol.

My brother and his friends are in ukraine as volunteer medics and doctors. Apparently in the the first week of the war there was major issues with Russian equipment failing and high causalities. He has treated lots of Russians as well. He says the last 10 days has been a major change where the Russiams are using more powerful weapons. The Ukrainians are overwhelmed and are slowing falling. Russians have have complete control of the communications and know exactly when and where the ukrainians are defending. He said in some instances before Ukrainian army decides to go to a certain area to wait for the russians ,there is Russians waiting for them there already. The main issue for the Ukrainians is they are loosing alot of the weapons. The russians are capturing everything and transfering the weapons to the Eastern rebels. I pray the Russians fall and my brother and his team can return home. Alot of the foreign fighters have started to fatigue and are returning home and to Poland. Another problem that is happening is that alot of sicknesses and disease are spreading now

Just a quick ‘big up’ to the mothers who had to campaign tirelessly to get anywhere with the NHS trust in Shropshire over the catastrophic failures in their maternity departments. Many, many wonderful caring people that work in and keep the NHS afloat. However as a an organisation, it’s institutionally rotten. It doesn’t ‘care’ in the way it likes to pretend, many of the staff do, even a shocking number of them don’t…

By the way, I recall a recent press conference with Conte being very complimentary stating that Man U. had a squad ready to win trophies now.

Of those named, the only proven goalscorer over the period mentioned is Kane, none of the others have kicked a ball in the Prem so are as yet unproven.

Can’t see him moving in the summer.
Levy will demand a stupid price for him again.
we struggle as a club to buy strikers, so having one to none would be the ultimate madness.
The club is at the point it will be just as good value to let him wind his contract down, considering what his replacement costs would be.
Unless City or Chelsea go for him in the summer (Liverpool won’t), then moving is a bit of a lottery for Kane if Conte stays.

There should be a law that “pundits” who had mediocre careers shouldn’t be allowed to say anything good or bad about players much better than they ever were. Or maybe I’ll just keep ignoring them.

You’re right after this summer Harry’s value will start to decline and then the question is,how long does Levy leave things before he tries to sell.

If for some reason Kane decides to stay beyond this season Levy could be caught between a rock and a hard place. After the way he feels he was treated,he might feel he has nothing to lose, but to see out his contract and leave on a free.

He will be 30 by then so it’s not too late to win some silverware, and Levy has previous,as we know’for allowing players to stay beyond the point where they are worth anything like what he would expect.

Let’s start a rumour that Harry actually wants to play for XXXXX FC any fooker can do this.

Playing Devil’s Advocate I see he has 2 years left on his contract so he does what Levy decides. Actually this is a good business case as he has to decide how low Harry’s value can go as his contract winds down.
