“Lose some weight” “Fraud” These Fans Appear Genuinely Furious With One Spurs Player

By The Boy -

I remain convinced that some random on social media losing the run of themselves, in fact losing their mind entirely isn’t sufficient evidence to posit a view that has value. Just because you can find a few guys who think eating a fistful of bird’s-eye chillis is a blast, that doesn’t give the suggestion any merit whatsoever.

The latest Tottenham player to have come in the firing line of sporting intellectuals appears to be Steven Bergwijn. There was also a death threat made from an account since deleted, so hopefully the cops are able to get a trace on the IP involved, but I’m not sharing that nonsense in this place.

On the weight issue, the boy does look bulky, but I’d guess that’s muscle mass, opposed to fat, but I am sure the Spurs physios know better than anyone involved in that diagnosis.

Steven didn’t have a howler of a game at all, in fact at 83%, his passing accuracy was better than most, including the routinely brilliant Hojbjerg!

What we have learned over time, is that some people really don’t know how to watch a football match… which is a pity.

Some ugly comments about Stevie, I’m pleased you shared his stats as he had a good game for me and was as gutted as he was when he hit the post, but tiny margins really as we created the better chances then blew it.

Dele is possible , Bale is unlikely. He’s still not ready.

This mystery ‘illness’ to Bake was a shame because if you’re playing in big games you need players used to playing in them? 🤔

Bergwijn isn’t one of those players but fair play he got in a position to try to score.

However, the lack of touches and shots for the forward players can’t be ignored. If we are only creating 2-3 chances in a game then you need some phenomenal composure to ensure you stick them away every time.

Don’t just blame Bergwijn, blame Jose for not demanding more touches from his forward players and more possession.

Yes James. The January window will show us just how serious Levy is regarding being PL Champions.

He did and it would probably have won us the game. He’s not overweight but his tangible contributions are insufficient.

Small margins he could and should have at least converted his second chance last night but fluffed his lines!!

Whilst no denying Bergy’s commendable shifts for the side clearly until he chips in with an acceptable amount of goals his doubters/critics will persist!!

Unfortunately H, there are some websites that give a platform to a small minority of hypercritical parasites, who are wholly unrepresentative of the vast majority of real fans. These emotionally incontinent, attention-seeking, narcissists, spawned by ‘social media’, are the worst kind of supporter, immature, carping critics, with little understanding of the game. Frankly the best remedy for these morons is to deny them the wholly undeserved oxygen of free publicity for their toxic views and to studiously ignore them.

To win the Premier League we need another striker and centre back in January and we need Bale and Dele scoring goals.
