‘Looks like a good game for him’ – BBC pundit backs struggling Spurs ace to shine vs Leicester

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur attacker Son Heung-Min has not been at his best this season.

The 30 year old has failed to find the back of the net so far this season in his eight appearances across all competitions. The South Korean is one of the best players in the Premier League and he will be disappointed with his return in front of the goal this season.

Spurs fans will be hoping for their talisman attacker to get back to his best soon and Chris Sutton has backed the 30 year old to come good against Leicester City.

The Londoners are up against the Foxes this Saturday and they will look to bounce back from their midweek defeat against Sporting in the Champions League.

The players will be fired up for this one and Son will be determined to exploit Leicester’s defensive frailties. The Foxes have been porous at the back and they need to be careful against players like Harry Kane, Richarlison, Son and Dejan Kulusevski.

Sutton claims that Spurs will pick up a 4-1 win over Leicester and he believes Son will get on the scoresheet.

He said to the BBC: “Tottenham only suffered their first defeat of the season against Sporting Lisbon on Tuesday but I have to say that I don’t think their performances have always been as good as their results in the past few weeks.

“Spurs haven’t always clicked, which is something for their manager Antonio Conte to think about, but they should still make short work of Leicester even if they don’t play well this time too.

“The Foxes have got plenty of firepower themselves but their problem is clearly defensively – they always look like they are going to concede goals.

“I’ve kept Spurs striker Son Heung-min in my fantasy team because this looks like a good game for him to get off the mark this season – so it will be my fault if that doesn’t happen.”
