London Source Makes Poch Replacement Claim: Julian Nagelsmann’s Blue n White Army?

By The Boy -

North London based website FootballFanCast is claiming to have the inside track on developments at Tottenham Hotspur’s managerial conundrum.

‘Julian Nagelsmann’s Blue n White Army!’ hardly trips off the tongue, but this won’t be the first time Tottenham has had to deal with an awkward name.

Fans of a certain vintage will recall the rounds of ‘Man in The Raincoat’s blue and white army!’ that greeted George Graham during his spell at The Lane (as many couldn’t stomach chanting the former Arsenal boss’ name).

Who is Julian Nagelsmann? He’s 32, currently the gaffer at RB Leipzig whom he only joined this year. Prior to that, the German was head coach of 1899 Hoffenheim.

Is he a winner? No, or not yet, depending upon your outlook on life. Nagelsmann’s CV is a tad sparse. In fairness however, he’s only been at it since 2015.

FootballFancast.com is a well established site, and Harry Hotspur happens to know that the founder is a long-standing season ticket holder at Spurs.

It would be classic Levy to appoint this bedwetter to champion ENICs brave new rebuild, doing things differently. It will go down nicely with the ‘Get Out of My Club’ imbeciles on Twitter.

It matters not one jot who manages our club.

Winner, perennial loser, World cup winner.

Every single one will have to do the job shackled by ENIC & Levy. None will ever see success.

ENIC, not Poch out

Agree with what you say(below),my point wasn’t a criticism of Poch per se.We know the reason he hasn’t succeeded, lack of funding in the squad.I wonder who could be responsible for that.

Probably bring Comolli back while he’s at it. Ropey League wilderness here we come. Our biggest gates will be for the Buckaroos versus the Sixyniners….

Never been backed.

Klopp’s been thrown cash after cash. I consider Poch a superior coach to Klopp. All day long…

He’s not been backed mate. See our 7th highest wage bill and there’s your reason…

If a manager with the resources Poch has had has done what he’s done with Spurs and isn’t allowed one iffy patch then what does a manager have to do?

Any talk of him being sacked is utterly bonkers, my only worry is he might jump ship and go to Utd where he’d be backed and win bloody everything.

Levy will be then left to ponder his admission that he “could have easily spent more on players”….

ENIC OUT.

He may not have won any of the real stuff but he won me over believing we gonna win the league soon. he also got us into the champions League a lot which I was gagging for back then. His time at Tottenham will be seen as a failure but I enjoyed most of it, a bit like arry. Tell you what if he does leave he’ll be back one day to deal with unfinished business.

If ENIC were serious I think they would go For Erik ten Hag (from Ajax). This screams of “sugar…get someone no-one really heard of but on an upward trajectory, then no-one can dig up bad press but we can sell potential”. Leipzig don’t even play a great way. In all honesty, I would have said “we need poch to stay” at the start of the season, even if told we were in 14th, but the way we are playing our position is actually flattering, the team, no matter who plays, looks lazy, tired and bored, that can only come from the coach.

Wasn’t “the man in the raincoat” (I remember the chant well) Levy’s first victim? Then he brought in hoddle.

No thank you. We will stand by poch if Levi wants to keep poch then the lad from Ajax and Fernandez would help him. He needs help and for all he’s done for us we should return the favour. Let’s not get carried away with my predictions for every team I’m afraid we come 5th. Let’s hope I’m wrong
