Levy Grants Permission To Talk: Player Wants MUFC Move

No laughing at the back, please.

Kieran Trippier, who has perhaps been in the worst form of his Tottenham career is a wanted man.

CalicoMercato believe that the Bury Boy is interested in quitting Spurs (has he not heard about the world class training facilities and stadium?!) and discussions are underway with Napoli.

Levy wants €35million for the Englishman, however to date the best offer form the Italians is some €15million shy of this figure.

The real problem however is that CalicoMercato understand that Manchester United are also interested in the out of sorts right back and that given the choice, Tripps would prefer the move to Old Trafford.

Given the spin that Kyle Walker’s departure to Manchester City put Danny Rose in, Spurs selling another England team mate, this time to United, could be enough to finally push Rose over the edge.

If this respected Italian outlet are accurate here, then it might be a salient reminder to ALL players to keep transfer angsts …in-house.

The Board and management’s judgment is so fucked that they should put a name up and ask the fans to vote if he is a Man Utd worthy player. If they argue against this suggestion .. then just mention ‘Sanchez’

uh there is no mention in this article about MUFC. Unless Napoli have some odd name I don’t know about. I thought this was going to be something interesting. As far as Trips goes. I’d keep him as a backup squad player but we need someone who is more consistent and really someone with more pace out there.

I would drive him there. He is not good enough along with Davies. When I look at Liverpool’s wingbacks and the quality of their delivery into the box I could weep when I watch these two

It’s sad that he seems to have psyched himself out by having a good word cup.
I like him and it’s going to be annoying if he goes to Utd and plays like he did for England, he has never played like that for us though.

Happy for him to leave – he has been shocking this season.
