Leicester and Leeds in the mix for Tottenham’s bad boy, says BEin Sports presenter

Danny Rose’s final career furlong seems destined to be away from Tottenham and the swansong before his allegedly adoring fans, that he allegedly desires so much. Trust is big deal in football, a sport riddled with gossip and whispers, with little or no time for those that breach confidences.

Whatever limitations Rose has as a sportsman, they are eclipsed by his inability to engage a filter and keep his thoughts to himself. It’s ironic that if one were to ‘Google’ Danny Rose’s name, the listings are dominated with his interviews and his opinions, opposed to his footballing feats.

Newcastle could still offer the 30-year-old another season, but it seems less likely given the recent comments about a farewell stint in N17.

Leeds United might be a better fit for all concerned, but whatever happens, this is one career that is closing with a whimper.

I like Danny; the only player to state out loud wot a tw*t Levy is regarding cheapo squad refreshments, even if he was somewhat motivated by mental health issues at the time, honesty as a by-product of ill health – sad twice over.

As Sid says, good luck to the lad, I hope he wins something.

What can you say about Danny Rose, other than the aversion to using search engines? He’s been a good servant here. Played some good football, been a committed team player and has proven his doubters wrong after being given a 5 year contract by Poch. I wish him well. It’s clear he needs a new challenge. I won’t miss the headlines though.

Don’t care where he goes, so long as it’s not back to Tottenham. Gift him to Prescott.

Somewhere between Leicester, Leeds and Newcastle………Hull maybe? Or if he turned right on his way back down he could head for Accrington

Leeds would be a good fit for Rose & Foyth combined £20m? Spend it on Real Madrid( on loan at Seville) Leftback Reguilon, voted best left back in the la liga team of the season.
