Latest update on Tottenham target reveals his likely next destination

By Bruce Grove -

Turkish outlet, 61saat has delivered an update on the future of Tottenham target, Alexander Sorloth.

The Norwegian, who flopped at Crystal Palace, has emerged as a transfer target for Spurs after his stellar campaign on-loan at Trabzonspor in the Turkish top flight last season.

He scored 33 goals and provided 11 assists for his loan team and that form has caught the attention of top European teams.

Tottenham is looking to land a new striker this summer to provide backup for Harry Kane and Sorloth’s goal haul makes him an ideal candidate.

However, Spurs faced tough competition from the German side, RB Leipzig and the report claims that the striker is joining the Bundesliga team instead.

It adds that Palace, Trabzonspor and Leipzig have all reached an agreement and the player is already in Germany and he was expected to have undergone his medical with Leipzig yesterday.

Confirming the news of his move to Germany, Trabzonspor Vice President Mehmet Yigit Alp made it clear that the transfer has no problems in getting sorted, he said: “There is no problem with the transfer. It will be over tomorrow.”

Spurs will now have to turn their attention to another transfer target, but time is running out and they will need to move fast.

As to the above I hope not because “he flopped for Palace” in our league, no more risks please, we need somebody to actually compete with Kane, especially now he has turned into a No.10 lol.

I think we’re going to sign Milik. His transfer to Roma has fallen through.
