Latest update on fans watching every Tottenham game on TV is encouraging

By Bruce Grove -

Football returned for the finish of the last campaign behind closed doors and fans will still be shut out at the start of next season.

Fans had been hopeful that they will be allowed into the stadiums for the start of next season, however, that will not be the case.

That said, some supporters will be allowed back in a limited capacity from October.

The broadcasters had also been limited in the number of games they will beam to homes in the new season.

Several games were originally not going to be streamed live to the Tottenham faithful, but that might change now.

The Times claims that the government is in talks with the Premier League to ensure that games played behind closed doors before fans are allowed back into the stadiums are all shown to the fans on TV.

This makes it possible for every Premier League in the coming campaign to become available to fans.

Sky Sports and BT Sports are reportedly preparing their capacity to air more Premier League games should they be asked to do just that.

The government will, however, not push for the broadcasters to make games available for free like it did during Project Restart.

Tottenham fans will hope that all their team games will be available for them to watch as they continue to stay behind at home while their stars play
