Atletico Madrid are once again showing an interest in signing Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

One player who could is very much likely to leave North London this summer is midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
According to Simon Jones of the Daily Mail, Atletico Madrid have reignited their interest in the Danish international as the summer transfer window looms.
Last summer, Atletico Madrid had shown keen interest in securing Hojbjerg’s signature, but the deal failed to materialise.
Now in the final year of his contract with Tottenham, which expires in June 2025, the defensive midfielder is actively seeking a move to secure more regular playing time and a starting role.
While Atletico Madrid leads the chase for the former Bayern player, other clubs such as Fulham, Juventus, Napoli and Fenerbahce have also been monitoring Hojbjerg’s situation closely.
Tottenham is acutely aware of the necessity to offload Hojbjerg this summer to avoid losing him for free when his contract expires next year.
With him not in Ange’s plans, the player will certainly be on the move this summer. Where he ends up playing next season, remains to be seen.
