Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil has been linked with a move away from the club in recent months.
The 22-year-old winger is currently sidelined with an injury and it remains to be seen whether Ange Postecoglou is prepared to give him opportunities to showcase his qualities.
The winger was expected to complete a permanent move away from Tottenham during the summer transfer window, but he has ended up staying.
Former Tottenham winger Erik Lamela has now revealed that he would have loved to play alongside Gil at Sevilla.
Gil has previously played for the Spanish club during a loan spell and the opportunity to return to his homeland could be a tempting proposition.
Speaking to Estádio Deportivo, Lamela has revealed that he gets on well with the Tottenham winger, and he would be keen on a reunion.
He said: “I would love it, for the person he is. He’s a great teammate, we get on great.”
It remains to be seen whether the talented young winger is allowed to move during the January transfer window.
He needs to play regularly at this stage of his career and Tottenham might not be able to provide him with a platform.
The North London outfit already have a number of quality midfielders at their disposal and Gil needs a major stroke of luck in order to break into the starting lineup and hold down a starting spot.
