The German paper’s head of football believes that Tottenham’s talisman striker will be subject to one of the those audacious bids that routinely haunt the football press.
Whist it’s likely that City will be looking to replace Aguero, who has struggled with injury over the last 3 months and at the increasingly ripe age of 32 (33 this summer). The Argentine scored 16 times from the 24 Premier League appearances he made last season, and this term there have been no goals from the 4 games he featured in.
Even taking off my Spurs Goggles for a few moments, at first glance the figure mooted for Harry Kane looks woefully light. Some Spurs fans might have the ache with Mourinho’s tactics, but the rest of the world will be looking at Kane’s numbers, which have never been better.
There’s also the slight matter of Manchester City’s falling star, which has seen them comparatively struggle a little, being 7 points off leaders Liverpool. I’m filing this one in the ‘ambitious’ file, aside from anything else, the number just isn’t right.

Perhaps City are eyeing him up as a central defender, given the mooted price, particularly after his outstanding defensive displays this season.
Wouldn’t say Kane won’t go to city, and if I were neutral I would say city more likely to win something big before we do (they will spend until they win… We will not). However, the price is a joke. The fact someone wrote it, then an editor agreed it is crazy. That means 2 people at least think the world’s best striker would move between league rivals for less than Paul pogba to United.
Put a few quid on him leaving if you have money to waste. Kane knows glorys in transit at tottenham. Next season (two more windows and a bit more work put into our VERY good youts coming through) José gonna show people he’s no mug. You think next season he’s not gonna show people his teams can play. I can see the smile on his face now when he changes up the style to reflect/respect our traditions but with a solid solid well drilled defence. Daniel levy will have said to José we can’t be playing this way for long? Levy makes it very very clear to all his managers that Tottenham have certain traditions re style of play. I reckon José told him that this style now will only be for this season and it will get him a cup. José. Stick to your plan man
