This wasn’t in the script.
Tottenham Hotspur, winless away in the Premier League since January, against Liverpool, who last lost at Anfield in the top flight in April 2017.
And yet it was the visitors who scored inside 47 seconds on Merseyside.
Harry Kane was the goalscorer, an instinctive poacher’s finish with his head, but the striker owes a huge debt to Moussa Sissoko and Son Heung-min.
Sissoko started the counter-attack by taking three Liverpool players out of the game with a driving run, before passing the ball on to Son, whose 25-yard dipping rocket bounced off the crossbar for Kane to steer home.

Kane has scored three times at Anfield previously, but never been on the winning side.
Only another 80 minutes or so to hang on to…
Pundits are far more likely to have ITK than journos.. Most are ex players….. The majority of journos these days are rubbish

However, when pundits say things like ‘from what I’ve heard blah, blah, blah’ I take it with a pinch of salt. Everyone likes to think they’re ITK & pundits/journos have the perfect opportunity to make things up, knowing they’ll never be asked to identify their source. He’s spot on though.
True but as with Eriksen, we’re limbered paying him 100k per week until his contract runs out & he walks out the door for nothing. No-one wants to buy rubbish so we’re stuck with them. Stick them both in the reserves.
