Jose Mourinho could now raid Tottenham for player he signed after recent development

By Mehdi Gokal -

Tottenham are keeping a close eye on developments as Brighton & Hove Albion edges closer to completing a deal for Fenerbahce’s left-back, Ferdi Kadioglu.

Recent update from Romano suggests that Brighton have already agreed on personal terms with Kadioglu, and negotiations with Fenerbahce over the transfer fee are moving forward smoothly.

As reported by TEAMtalk, The finalisation of Kadioglu’s move to Brighton could pave the way for Tottenham to initiate their own transfer plans, particularly concerning Sergio Reguilon.

Sources from Turkey suggest that Fenerbahce, under the management of former Spurs boss Jose Mourinho, have pinpointed Reguilon as the perfect successor to Kadioglu.

Mourinho, familiar with Reguilon’s strengths, views the Spanish left-back as a significant addition to his squad.

Reguilon, who is in the last year of his contract with Tottenham, does not feature in Ange Postecoglou’s long-term plans.

After being loaned out twice last season—most recently to Brentford in January, where he delivered four assists in 16 appearances—Reguilon is eager to find a permanent exit from North London.

Tottenham are actively looking to sell Reguilon, making a potential transfer to Fenerbahce a practical solution for everyone involved.

As Brighton nears the signing of Kadioglu, Reguilon’s move could swiftly follow, enabling Spurs to finalise their squad reshaping ahead of the new season.

This potential transfer chain could allow Tottenham to part ways with Reguilon successfully, while Brighton and Fenerbahce complete their respective signings.

With the transfer window still open, Spurs are positioning themselves to balance squad adjustments with the financial benefits of a well-executed transfer.
