José Accuses Antonio Rudiger Of Simulation [video]

By The Boy -

The gaffer was unimpressed with Antonio Rudiger’s simulation yesterday afternoon. The play-acting cost Tottenham dearly, resulting in the sending off of Heung Son-Min.

Sure the South Korean should not have lashed out when he was on the floor, however the exaggerated response from the Chelsea player was not appropriate and simulation under any circumstances, even from a genuinely aggrieved party is unacceptable.

Tottenham’s fans near to this action could be clearly heard booing and shouting cheat at Rudiger.

I’d put in Tanguy as soon as he’s fit and use Lo Celso regularly. This team is stale, it needs something different in midfield. Those two are our only hope of freshening it up.

I can see Poch’s overachieving with this group of players coming into sharp focus under Jose.

Collectively we were very good under Poch’s methods for several years. Under Jose I just can’t see the same dynamic emerging. Either we spend and back Jose with what he wants to do or forget it.

Levy thinks the squad is good enough because of Poch’s work. He’s most probably wrong…

The interview Levy did with The Standard was a rare one, one he obviously agreed to so long as there were not too many searching questions. Total whitewash.

All this ‘I just do the best for Spurs’ stuff. Well your ‘best’ has brought 1 League Cup in 20 years.

We can possibly beat the Brighton’s of this world under Jose, we have failed all the big tests so far under him.

If diving is cheating that warrants a yellow card, why wasn’t Rudiger issued with a yellow for cheating/simulating to get Son sent off?He had the chance to make amends when Son pleaded with him that it wasn’t so bad,but he ignored him.Yes it was stupid of Son and his action can be construed as intent, but he barely touched him.Taylor like most refs doesn’t use any common sense.

Brighton, Norwich and Southampton, easy pickings. Doubt it, every team now knows to attack Aurier and that drags Sissoko out of position and this leaves a hapless Dier even more exposed. Attackers just pour through a non existent midfield. Vertonghens pace is gone, so we are vulnerable on the left flank now. Nine points in the bag, I don’t think so.

Keep thinking of Mourinho with his arm around Aurier telling him he can be one of the best right backs in the world.

The worst midfield in the Premier League on present form. Unless Tanguy is a miracle worker or we add quality in January ( not happening) our chances of fourth place are zero. Stand back and watch Chsea strengthen, and we do nothing.

3 only? this is second offence, third if you count the broken leg thing. 5 Minimum, 8 more like.

The loser culture at Spurs comes from the top. Two decades of it under these con men.

Anticipating that we shall struggle to beat Brighton on Boxing Day, missing Son for 3 matches is a big loss.

So you want to keep one of the most violent players in the league?

A Belgian/Belgium Snake or two and One (of the worst players in a CL final) Of Our Own.

We got school by ManU, Who did they just lose to? We got schooled by Chelscum, Who did they lose to B4 us? We got schooled twice by Bayern, how are they doing?
It’s all about winning against the BIG Clubs, that’s the metric.

Poch’s fault? Yep that’s it, that’s the new metric.

Good rant.

Jose will soon realise that Aurier, Sissoko, Moura, etc are average and are not mentality monsters.

Jose needs a new squad (so did Poch).

Until we have some quality in the centre of the park we will not win important matches.

The dark cloud descended upon Seven Sisters Road yesterday. Quite ironic alledged Spurs fans shouting racist comments at Chelsea. The penalty before half time summed it up. Madness and self destructive. Will they ever learn?

Regardless of anyone overreacting, we were garbage,Jose’s just lost the most important match of his time in charge of Spurs so far.

We beat some dross and lost to Utd but got enough points to smell blood against a Chavski side that had hit a rut, a time to put real pressure on the top 4 and Chavski.

What makes this defeat so damaging is that it’s another defeat to decent opposition, a defeat to a rookie manager, another failure by the supposed ‘winner’ Levy chose to replace Poch with.

I see none of the Poch bashers laying into Jose for poor tactics, persisting with Dier even when he’s not at it etc. Jose is beyond criticism but Poch was some kind of walking disaster was he?

Poch has been a better manager than Jose over recent years, why sack the better manager after a run of 10 poor fixtures?

We aren’t going to win the league, does anyone think we will win the Champions League (or qualify for it this season)?

So what’s left? The FA Cup would be nice but to win it we would have to beat some decent opposition to do so. We are probably going to win nothing under Jose this season and all this ‘he’s a winner’ stuff was shown to be complete guff yesterday.

Winners go in for the kill right? Jose and his players got slapped and whimpered off like true losers yesterday…
