According to talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook, Tottenham have prioritised the signing of another centre-back over a number 10 this summer.
Antonio Conte have already signed Clement Lenglet on loan from Barcelona but wants to sign another one in order to play with the back three system which he prefers.
He told GIVEMESPORT:
“I’ve been told that a centre-back is more of a priority (than a number ten). Obviously, they’ve signed Lenglet but I think they will sign one more as well because they’re going to play a back three, ideally with Spence and Perišić as the wing-backs.”
According to the Mirror, Spurs are still interested in signing Villareal’s Pau Torres and are considering a £30m bid for the Spanish center back. The other two names they are linked with most are Torino centre-back Gleison Bremer which has been reported by Express and Alessandro Bastoni but the latter has outlined his intentions of staying at Inter.
However, considering that the majority of the reports are linking Tottenham with a centre-back despite Lenglet’s arrival, it backs Alex Crook’s claims about Conte’s next priority signing.
“I’ve been told”… Absolute clowns in the media, just making things up. The presenter should have grilled him, “told by whom? Do you have an imaginary friend? A mouse in your pocket? Let’s have it, told by whom?!”
Sanchez is dreadful how many goals come off him is alot he will go but near end of window once we get his replacement then he will go
Obviously doesn’t trust Sanchez at all in which case he needs shifting too
COYS!
