I had high hopes when Doherty came from Wolves. Here was a core element of the Wolves squad that had not just won promotion, but made a name for themselves in the top-flight of English football by threatening the established sides.
When the Irish international arrived at Spurs, we didn’t get the same level of performances, and now in this in-house video we get a tale about Covid-19 and a loss of form – we deserve better and if Matt can’t make the grade under Nuno then hard questions need to asked, to all concerned.
I had hoped to see Doherty look a little more revved up, is that unreasonable?

We’ll see a different player next season. Seems a bit shy/awkward to me, not a natural speaker. Until we find out Nuno decided he was so rubbish, he had to be sold!
