‘in the next few hours…’ Sky Sports’ reporter Di Marzio drops significant update on possibly Spurs exit

By Mehdi Gokal -

Japhet Tanganga’s agent is set to be in Milan in the ‘next few hours according to Sky Sports’ reporter Gianluca Di Marzio.

Tanganga has failed to cement his place in the team under Conte and as a result, his future at the club has been uncertain this summer with various reports linking him to clubs abroad as well as newly promoted Bournemouth.

Tanganga last week has dismissed all talks about him leaving Spurs by claiming they are all just speculations. However, according to the latest reports by Di Marzio, the player’s agent is traveling to Milan to hold talks with them over a move. He tweeted:

“Tanganga agent in Milan in the next few hours.”

The defender has fallen even further below Conte’s pecking order after the arrival of Clement Lenglet and with reports of Conte looking actively to sign another centre-back, it’s evident that he’s not in Conte’s plan. A move away from Spurs might just be the best option for him if he wants to kickstart his career and start playing regularly.

RB problem has not been solved. Royal and Doherty are not good enough and Spence is a punt. CB is still a problem with Lenglet a stop gap and IMO, too slow for the pace of the PL. Still no AM to fire the bullets with both Lo Celso and N’Dombele reportedly on the way out if we can find buyers. Still plenty of deadwood to shed so, despite a good start at the beginning of the window, the recruitment process shouldn’t be finished yet.

Agreed Levy meddling again.. unless of course there are plans a foot to sell Royal to Athletico… if we could get 20 million for him that would be a result

One thing is for sure , Tanganga is going . What a fabulous club / country he is headed for if the rumour-mill is right .
Sadly Japh never quite stepped up on those early performances , such a shame because they promised so much . But are they seeing something we dont , very strange . Could understand interest from a Championship club etc , but Milan are massive , are we making a big rick here ??

We definitely need an extra CB… although… for the 2nd half of last seasons campaign I believe we conceded joint 2nd least goals…. and… scored the most goals.

Conte trying out Moura as a RWB means he is not taking any chances. Might have been a ‘message to Levy’ too.

Says everything though about Levy trying to still micromanage stuff where he should not be involved. The fact that it took 5 Paratici signings for this one to get over the line, just highlights the issues we have had in previous transfer windows.

This also means that effectively we have not improved at all at RWB unless the kid actually proves to be better than what we got, otherwise we gonna have another Clarke on our hands unfortunately

We also haven’t really improved at the back which is what we need if we gonna push on from last season. Seems we have missed out on all options at CB unless there is someone still available

If he follows instructions and tries hard, he will. Otherwise, Conte won’t care who picked him and how much was paid for him…

So Spence wasn’t a Conte pick – he club wanted him and Conte said OK. Wonder if the lad will get much game time this season?
