Tottenham players returned to training on Wednesday as they prepare for the next season under new manager Ange Postecoglou.

And Romero who has a reputation of being reckless in his tackles made his return in the only way he knows how.

Spurs full-back Sergio Reguilon posted a picture on his social media showing the horror wound on his leg caused by Cristian Romero during the training session.

He captioned it perfectly, saying: “Cuti is back.”

Romero is perhaps their best centre-back at the moment. But Ange Postecoglou is looking to add a couple of centre-backs to the team, with the likes of Micky van de Ven and Edmond Tapsoba the two players strongly linked so far.
