Image – Tottenham team to face Arsenal – quite a strong starting XI

By Bruce Grove -

It may only be a friendly, but you can take it to the bank that neither teams fans want to be on the end of a defeat today.

Of course a ton of players will be absent and there will be loads of subs throughout the game but it is still a North London derby and it is in front of fans.

This is the team that Nuno Santos is going with, let us know in the comments what you think and what the score may end up being.

Aye he’s doing his coaching badges now. He wasn’t even level 1.. Presumably Maureen put him on this path.. Ledders should definitely be coaching in the future, what a player he was.

No, Chelsea win by virtue of goals scored.

A more promising performance second half. Nice goal by Son.

It’s so obvious we need a goalscorer.

King is getting his ‘papers’ this year, isn’t he?

Better 2nd half. Should’ve had at least a couple of goals.

There’s an interesting article on Charlie Kane on the Eurosport website. He has a sports management company of which his brother Harry is the only client.

To say the article is less than flattering is an understatement and he comes across as a David Brent type character. And it could go a long way to explaining the farce that Kane’s transfer situation has become.

Whether he moves or not I would suggest that Harry Kane dumps his brother rather unceremoniously.

Dier is 2 footed, reasonable in the air but subject to bad passes/not tracking runners, Sanchez has pace to burn but isnt great in the air & regularly makes positional mistakes… of the 2 I would say Dier is slightly better but either playing centreback for long enough will cost you points. It does make you wonder what Ledley King is doing at the club…

We are poor. It’s the same style we’ve had for a year or two now. Unable to keep possession so sit deep and look to counter attack.

That’s the EXACT idea, to expose the centrebacks for what they are, we Dier atleast. Sanchez is not half as bad as Dier.
Will be shocked if another CB or 2 are not being signed VERY soon.

Ahead of both Dier and Sanchez.

Has anyone got a link similar to the one for the Chelsea match?

On the bench – surely he should be in ahead of Sanchez who’s reportedly going?

A car crash defence. Hojbjerg and Skipp will have their work cut out trying to protect that lot.

Is Dele in the last chance saloon – following his laughable performance against Chelsea – at least the Chelsea fans thought it was funny.
