James Maddison cheekily mocked a Sheffield United player by pretending to be injured in order to waste time after Dejan Kulusevski’s late match-winning goal.
Sheffield United had taken the lead in the 73rd minute and had been extensively time-wasting to preserve their advantage.
However, this tactic backfired as Tottenham Hotspur managed to score two goals during stoppage time, which had been extended due to the time-wasting.
After Kulusevski netted the winner, Maddison humorously mocked the Sheffield United players by pretending to be injured and holding his thigh, all while with a smile on his face.
