Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo has been linked with a move away from the club in recent months.

According to Football Insider, clubs like Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Newcastle United have been tracking his progress and former Premier League scout Mick Brown believes that clubs could come forward with offers to sign the player in January.

Brown said: “I know there are a lot of clubs, including some of the top clubs, who are interested in him.

“I’m told they’ve been tracking his progress very closely.

“Bournemouth will be expecting offers for him in January and probably going into the next transfer window as well if he keeps up his form.”

The attacker has been quite impressive in the Premier League this season and the 24-year-old could prove to be a quality acquisition for Tottenham. They could certainly use more quality and depth in the attacking unit.

Semenyo is versatile enough to operate anywhere across the front three and he will add goals and creativity to the side. The opportunity to play for a big club like Tottenham will be quite attractive for him, and he will certainly hope that the two clubs can secure an agreement.

Brown believes that Bournemouth are now expecting offers for the player in January, and it will be interesting to see if the Cherries are willing to sell a key player midway through the season. They might struggle to replace him in January.

It will be interesting to see how the situation develops over the next few weeks.

Spurs will be hoping to secure Champions League qualification this season and they will look to do well in the domestic competitions as well. Signing the right players in January will help them improve and finish the season strongly.

The 24-year-old could be a quality acquisition for them, and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham can beat the competition from Arsenal and Newcastle to get the deal done.

Arsenal could use more depth in the final third as well. Players like Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus have been quite underwhelming this season and the Gunners need more options at their disposal.
