“I’m sure Spurs will look at him” – Journalist makes exciting transfer claim regarding Premier League star

Journalist Peter O’Rourke has suggested that Tottenham Hotspur could be among the clubs that are interested in Newcastle United’s Allan Saint-Maximin in the upcoming summer transfer window.

O’Rourke made the statement while speaking to Football FanCast, revealing that he believes Spurs would consider a move for the Frenchman if he becomes available on the market.

The journalist cited Saint-Maximin’s unique attacking qualities, which make him a different kind of player in the final third, as the reason behind Tottenham’s potential interest.

He said:

“If someone like Allan Saint-Maximin did become available in the market, I’m sure Spurs will look at him because he does have something different up front and in the final third.”

Saint-Maximin has been on Tottenham’s radar for some time now, with reports suggesting that the club had shown interest in him during the January transfer window.

The player’s undeniable talent and ability to change games on his own have made him one of the most sought-after attacking players in the Premier League.

In recent seasons, Saint-Maximin has been Newcastle’s standout performer, almost single-handedly keeping the club in the top-flight with his impressive displays.

However, injuries and new signings have limited his game time this season, with the Frenchman only making 15 league appearances. In those appearances, he has scored one goal and provided three assists, which is still a decent return.

AC Milan are also said to be interested in signing Saint-Maximin, with reports suggesting that the Italian club initiated talks with Newcastle for a £25 million deal in the late stages of the January transfer window. His agent Fabrizio Ferrari has since confirmed this, suggesting that the Italian club were genuinely interested in the player.

If Saint-Maximin were to move to Tottenham, he would be a great addition to the squad for Antonio Conte’s team.

However, he would face stiff competition for his place in their attacking lineup, which already includes top-class players such as Harry Kane, Son, Kulusevski, and Richarlison.
