“I’m on my knees” “the real deal” These Fans Are Stoked At Mourinho’s Alleged Interest In Premier League Player

By The Boy -

This is a Spurs transfer rumour that under too close inspection, folds like a faulty picnic table. Eberechi Eze to Spurs doesn’t really exist. The passing mention that has sparked the speculation can be found buried halfway down a page on the Daily Mail, which is frankly a rambling series of Premier League prospects that some poor intern churned out to fill the void of no football.

So there’s your substantive source article. Pochettino was linked with the boy, and to date, Mourinho has not come out and said he loathes the lad.

Enter stage left a Twitter account that turns “also thought to be an admirer” into “is a fan of” faster than you can say, “faulty picnic table”.

These fans are stoked, or at least, they certainly have been. As per my last blog, the last thing Spurs need right now is another midfielder. The second to last thing Spurs need right now is another player that needs to ‘bed in’.

Eze was twice the price of clarke when we bought him. Hes probably gone up since more like 3 or 4 times the price now.

Players like Eze ultimately make that step in to the EPL, whether through a transfer or promotion. QPR are not in a great position to get promoted so Spurs have to play the game, sign him and loan him if he is not quite ready. He is a prospect though. It might work, look at Maddison, Trippier, Maguire, Brooks, Stones, Robertson, Walker, Grealish. There’ll be loads more to come. Just goes back to the scouting system. It might backfire, like the Fulham lad who ended up at City, Patrick Roberts. He was Billy Whizz 5 years ago and is struggling to make that step up from a Championship level. I’ve not given up on Clarke, he is very young still but he needs to play in League One or the Championship. Phillips at Leeds and Eze should get their chance soon enough. Whether they take it is down to them.

Can we recover the Jack Clarke money and spend it on Eze?

Put plants in the window and they grow. The ones that aren’t will wither. In order to keep the plants happy and growing you need to find them all space in the window but the problem is the window is only so big. A little rotation is needed but if you have too many plants some will wither and potentially die 😞.

Payers aren’t going to do us much good if they aren’t getting in the team. Their career will go backwards. If they take the spot of someone already at the club, that players career and value will go downhill. Managing this is a careful balancing act.
