‘I’d been sick all season’ Sonny Makes Dramatic Revelation

By The Boy -

Son Heung-min has made a significant admission in respect of his own health and well-being, telling fans, “I thought a lot about whether I should tell you this, but in fact, I had a lot of trouble throughout the season, so after 8–9 months, I couldn’t help it, so I had surgery…”

Speaking to his national press, it was revealed that hernia surgery was eventually required. The South Korean ace had been suffering in silence for months on end, for the entirety of last season. It wasn’t a short-lived pain, according to the much-loved attacker.

After a comparatively poor season, by the South Korean’s own exceptionally high standards, Spurs fans will be looking forward to signs that the procedure has worked and the former Golden Boot winner can return to winning ways.

This summer season now takes on a more hopeful twist, but one has to ask if this was the best cause of action. Additionally, did the Tottenham board really have so little faith in their Brazilian attacker Richarlison, that Sonny had to be played so unsparing, even though he wasn’t 100% fit? This is undoubtedly a situation in which fans are going to want answers, one would imagine. Equally, why did Danjuma pick up so little slack?

Clearly, new boss Ange Postecoglou will be particularly mindful of just how much pressure the player will be under from heron in.

Tottenham’s players will enjoy some sporadic rest, a few international games, and then look forward to games in Australia against Premier League counterparts Leicester City and West Ham United.
